Jonathan Ferdinand

Meet Jonathan Ferdinand

Mr. Ferdinand is currently a Noise and Vibration Specialist for Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and his Master’s degree in Science and Ecology from the Pennsylvania State University. Since 2004, Mr. Ferdinand is responsible for conducting vibration and noise investigations related to construction, mining, traffic, and industry.

With regard to community noise and compliance for hard rock and sand/gravel operations, Mr. Ferdinand he has completed ambient sound studies, made direct noise measurements from dredging, and completed noise projection and mitigation analysis of complete operations.  Collectively, these services provide the information and expertise necessary to resolve noise-related issues.

Finally, as related to noise related issues, he has provided depositions and expert testimony to zoning boards, local regulatory agencies, and local and district courts. He recently provided expert testimony to the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission with regard to proposed rule changes for noise evaluation.
